Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the LifePilot Pty Ltd website, software products, mobile applications, and related services. Our products currently include FamilyPilot and may include future LifePilot software products.

By accessing our website or using any LifePilot product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the website or our products.

If you use our products on behalf of another person, family, organisation, or household, you confirm that you have authority to do so and that they agree to these Terms.

Use of the Website

You may use https://lifepilot.com.au to learn about LifePilot Pty Ltd, our products, policies, and contact details. You must use the website lawfully and must not interfere with its operation, security, availability, or content.

Website content is provided for general information. We may update, change, suspend, or remove website content at any time.

User Accounts

Some LifePilot products may require you to create an account. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your login details secure, and for activity that occurs through your account.

You must notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may suspend or restrict access to an account where we reasonably believe there is a security risk, breach of these Terms, misuse, or unlawful activity.

Software Products

LifePilot software products, including FamilyPilot, are designed to support everyday organisation. You are responsible for the information you enter, the decisions you make using our products, and ensuring that your use is suitable for your circumstances.

We may release updates, improvements, new features, fixes, or changes to our products. Some features may be changed, limited, suspended, or removed as our products develop.

If you download a LifePilot product through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another app marketplace, your use may also be subject to that platform's terms, rules, and policies.

Subscriptions and Payments

Some LifePilot products or features may be offered as paid subscriptions, one-time purchases, free trials, or other paid services. Pricing, billing periods, included features, renewal terms, and cancellation options will be shown at or before purchase where applicable.

If you purchase through Apple, Google, or another third-party app marketplace, billing, renewals, refunds, and cancellations are generally handled by that platform under its own terms and policies. You should manage those subscriptions through the platform account used to make the purchase.

Unless required by law or by an applicable platform policy, fees already paid may be non-refundable. We may change pricing or paid features from time to time, but changes will not affect an active billing period unless stated or required by the platform through which you purchased.

Intellectual Property

LifePilot Pty Ltd owns or licenses the LifePilot name, FamilyPilot name, website, software, product designs, interfaces, text, graphics, logos, features, and related intellectual property.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of any LifePilot intellectual property to you. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use our products for their intended purpose.

You retain ownership of content you enter into our products. You give us permission to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the products.

Acceptable Use

You must not use our website or products to break the law, infringe the rights of others, harass or harm others, upload malicious code, interfere with service operation, attempt unauthorised access, scrape or extract data without permission, reverse engineer the software, or bypass security or access controls.

You must not use LifePilot products to store or share content that is unlawful, abusive, exploitative, discriminatory, deceptive, or otherwise harmful. We may remove content or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, LifePilot Pty Ltd, our systems, or legal compliance.

Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable and useful services, but we do not guarantee that our website or products will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Service availability may be affected by maintenance, updates, technical issues, third-party providers, network conditions, platform outages, or events outside our reasonable control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LifePilot Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, loss of profit, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of, or inability to use, our website or products.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to these Terms, the website, or our products is limited to the amount you paid to LifePilot Pty Ltd for the relevant product or service in the 12 months before the claim, or AUD $100 if you have not paid us any amount.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law.

Termination

You may stop using our website or products at any time. If account functionality is available, you may request account deletion by contacting us at admin@lifepilot.com.au.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to our products if you breach these Terms, create legal or security risk, misuse the service, fail to pay applicable fees, or if we discontinue a product or feature.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property, acceptable use, limitation of liability, governing law, and any payment obligations already incurred.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, business, legal requirements, or operating practices. The updated Terms will be posted on https://lifepilot.com.au with a revised Last Updated date.

If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice, such as through our website, within a product, or by email where appropriate. Continued use of our website or products after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and LifePilot Pty Ltd submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia, and any courts entitled to hear appeals from those courts.
